Our makeup and skincare products are designed to take the guesswork out of your routine and simplify your life. This is why we’re big on creating formulas and formats that are super easy to use, versatile (meaning, they can multitask!), and ultra-convenient for everyone.

At blk, there are no complicated steps or intimidating how-to’s; just quick and  no-fuss application—the kind that you can do even if you’re pressed on time or on the go. Life is complicated enough as it is, after all. Your makeup shouldn’t be!

So you don’t test on animals?

Definitely not! We love animals and would never harm any creature, big or small, just for the sake of beauty. In fact, blk is one of the first few local brands to get an official cruelty-free certification from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and it’s something that we’re really proud of.

Pure & Kind beauty? What does that mean?

Thoughtfully made with good intentions, blk products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and created using only pure, ethically-sourced, and skin-loving ingredients. They’re also free of harmful junk, specifically these eight yuckies: parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLEs, mineral oil, dyes, alcohol, artificial silicone, and artificial fragrances. 

We’re also not in it simply for the business; we’re a beauty brand with a heart. Aside from making sure our products are kind to you and your skin—made with pure, safe, and gentle ingredients—blk is keen on doing good for the community and for the environment.

A portion of our sales go to causes and initiatives we believe in, such as 1% of the planet, a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations.

How do I shop from the website?

Here’s a quick guide on how to purchase your blk products online:

  1. Choose from the options on our main menu bar at the top of the page to shop from a specific category, then click on the item you like. Or, you can find a specific product by typing its name on the search bar at the top left corner of the page.
  2. Once on the product page, you can view the product details and click on the image for a larger photo view. Choose the quantity of item/s you want to buy (click + to add) then click ADD TO BAG.
  3. A pop up will appear confirming your product is successfully added to your shopping cart. You may choose CONTINUE SHOPPING to keep browsing and adding items or click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT to finalize your purchase.
  4. When you click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT, you will be directed to the SHOPPING BAG SUMMARY. For any special instructions, type it on the text box. Once everything is in order, click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT at the bottom right corner of the page.
  5. On the CHECKOUT page, input your contact details and delivery address.  If you have any voucher codes, you may input it on the text box provided as well. Then, click PROCEED.
  6. Under SHIPPING, choose from the shipping options available. We offer both local and international shipping for our products.
  7. On the payment page, select your preferred payment method. Make sure to confirm your order details before proceeding with payment.
  8. After payment, a message prompt will appear: Thank you for shopping with us! You will also receive an email confirmation with the details of your order.

 

ORDERS & PAYMENTS

Q: What payment methods does blk cosmetics accept?

A: We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, & American Express), Maya, Gcash, GrabPay, WeChat Pay, Atome, Cash on delivery, and all establishments under QRPH.

 

Q: What if payment methods on site do not apply to my country?

A: Please contact hello@blkcosmetics.com.ph and we will be happy to assist you with a payment link.

 

Q: When will my orders be processed?

A: For Cash on Delivery, orders will be processed as soon as the order has been placed.

For Credit/ Debit cards and Bank Transfers, orders will be processed once the payment has been confirmed.

 

Q: When will I see the charge on my credit card?

A: You will be notified by your bank as soon as your payment has been confirmed.

 

Q: What should I do when my payment is declined?

A: Kindly double check that you’ve typed in the correct card details. If everything is correct, please contact your local bank to look into your account.

 

Q: Why was I charged the wrong amount?

A: Kindly contact your local bank for further assistance on the charges, as there may be additional surcharges like tax or transfer fees.

A: Yes, All blk cosmetics SPF claims are true and backed by SPF testing conducted by our Korean and Taiwanese manufacturers.

 

Q: Are blk cosmetics products ingredients safe for sensitive skin?

Q: How do I choose the right shade for my foundation or powder?

A: Our product listings contain visual shade guide matches for you to compare with your skin tone and undertone. Your skin tone is the main color of your skin, ranging from fair to deep skin. Your undertone is the natural shade within that color.

There are 3 common undertones: Warm, Neutral and Cool.

Below is a quick guide to know yours:

Warm

Green Gold Tans or turns into a darker shade easily
Neutral Both green and blue Both gold and silver Tans slowly and seldom burns

Q: For lip and cheek products, which shade should I choose?

A: All our shades have been formulated to match all skin tones. You may refer to our product listing shade guides for visual references.

 

Q: When does my makeup expire? 

A: The best rule of thumb is to follow the period after opening which is usually 12 months. Our manufacturing dates are placed on our packaging, with an average shelf life of 3 years.

For example, if the product was manufactured in January 2023, it must be opened on or before January 2025, so that it can be used within the recommended period after opening.
